ORIGINAL STUDIO MULTITRACKS
Recently an excellent series of multitracks by various artists have appeared in trading circles. They are transfers of original studio multitrack tapes. Each channel has been recorded to an individual WAV file, similiar to the Sgt Pepper multitracks from last year. However, these are of exceptional quality. If you have an audio program with multitrack capability (like Adobe Audition), you can load these tracks into individual channels and make custom mixes. Or you can just listen to each track by itself, of course. Multitracks for each song are available as WAV files on data CDs.
